Mission
- To achieve major presence in the global energy sector and become one of the largest power generation companies in the country in shortest possible time frame and to significantly contribute to the country’s vision of generating more than 1,28,000 MW of power over next 10 years.
Vision
- To add 5000 MW of power generation capacity by the year 2013 with strategically located power plants across the country.

- Total 2400 MW has already been signed up with state governments.
- Land acquisition for Chhattisgarh power plant is already at advanced stage.
- Land identified for the proposed power plant in Madhya Pradesh is currently under approval process.
- While already received allocation of captive coal mine for Chhattisgarh plant, allocation of coal mine for plant in Madhya Pradesh is at advanced stage.
